Third New Provider Added to Delta Health Urgent Care
Due to a substantial increase in patient demand at the Delta Health Urgent Care clinic, Tony Maul, RN, MSN, MBA and Family Nurse Practitioner-Certified (FNP-C), has recently been added as the third provider. He is fluent in Spanish, has full prescriptive authority in Colorado, and was recently employed as a Family Nurse Practitioner along the Front Range of Colorado.
Maul earned his Master of Science in Nursing and was a member in Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing from Vanderbilt University of Nursing, in Nashville, TN. He also has a Master of Business Management in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, AZ. Maul earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Literature from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
He was employed as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Denver Health Westwood Family Center in Denver whose patient base was 75% native Spanish speaking. For a year as a FNP resident he also worked at Santa Rosa Community Centers in Santa Rosa, CA.
Maul’s graduate clinical experience included: The Little Clinic in Hendersonville, TN; Healing Arts Family Medicine in Loveland and Clinica Family Health Service in Boulder and Lafayette, CO.
He has volunteered as a Spanish-English interpreter for medical relief projects aiding children with disabilities in Nicaragua and also volunteered for community development projects in Costa Rica for the Amigos de las Americas organization.
He joins Gina Justus, FNP-C and Jane Rosen, FNP-C to staff the Delta Health Urgent Care Clinic for Delta Health.
Rosen has been a Registered Nurse for 36 years and is a Family Nurse Practitioner-Certified. She has worked in Colorado and Wyoming clinic settings for some 16 years in both family practice and internal medicine. Rosen has a Master’s in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College and a BSN from Clarkson College of Nursing.
Justus has worked in healthcare since 1982 and is a Family Nurse Practitioner-Certified. After working for 20 years as a Registered Nurse, she entered graduate school and received her Master’s of Nursing (MSN) from Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Practice Nursing in Hyden, KY. Since receiving her Certification as a Nurse Practitioner, Justus has worked in Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Colorado. She has specialized in Family Practice, Emergency Room, and Urgent Care settings.
The Delta Health Urgent Care Clinic was opened in December 2014. Most insurance is accepted, as well as uninsured patients who wish to pay out of pocket for their visit. No appointments are needed. All patients are served on a first come and first served basis. Delta Health Urgent Care Clinic is located at 155 Stafford Lane, across from the hospital with clinic hours 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and weekend hours Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
