Now more than ever it is important for you to get the care that you need. Delta Health and our dedicated hospital staff are here to provide you with safe, reliable, high-quality care. Below are answers to some of the frequently asked questions we receive regarding non-COVID related care at Delta Health, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Q. Is Delta Health ‘open’ to see general patients?
A. Yes, we are open to see all patients for general care in the outpatient and inpatient settings. Our safe care commitment to you means that your in-person visits to Delta Health are friendly and safe. Our Hospital and Clinics are also offering virtual visits that can be conducted remotely using technology like phones and computers – when possible. Ask your care team which option is best for you.

Q. How do I decide if my visit should be held in-person or online?
A. Call your Primary Care Provider (PCP) and they will help you to determine which option is best for your individual needs and circumstances. In many cases, virtual visits are recommended, but we will assess your health care needs and ability to safely travel to Delta Health.

Q. Is it safe to visit your Hospital and Clinics?
A. Yes, it is safe to visit our Hospital and Clinics. We are committed to keeping our patients, community and healthcare workers safe with stringent sanitization and cleaning procedures as well as with our screening process that takes place at our Hospital and Clinics.

Q. What will the screening process look like when visiting the Hospital?
A. When visiting the Hospital for your appointment, we ask that patients and visitors practice social distancing by lining up 6ft apart. A Delta Health employee will greet you at the front desk and will ask that you wear your mask and will provide one if needed. We will then ask you a series of screening questions relating to COVID symptoms and your temperature will be taken using a touch-free thermometer gun. We ask that all patients, visitors and staff practice social distancing, wear a mask, and utilize the many sanitizing stations throughout our Hospital and Clinics.
