Nutrition in Health & Disease
We offer one-on-one and group sessions to aid individuals who are working to address their nutrition-related struggles and improve their overall health.
Weight management can be difficult, but with the proper tools and resources, our patients learn valuable ways to maintain their health. We offer individual and group weight management sessions to help educate those working to achieve a healthy weight.
Nutrition and Cancer
As part of the integrative medicine team in our oncology unit, we offer counseling and assistance to cancer patients with special nutritional needs before, during, and after treatment.
Diabetes is a common condition that can be improved by a healthy diet and lifestyle. We offer individual counseling sessions, as well as a free Diabetes Support Group that has been serving our community for more than 20 years. The group is led by a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator, and meets the second Monday of each month at 2:30 p.m. Topics discussed are generated by requests from the group.
Home Health Consultations
Managing nutrition at home is important for maintaining good health. In collaboration with Delta-Montrose Home Health, our team of nutrition professionals provides nutritional assessment and care plans for patients enrolled in Delta-Montrose Home Health. We address a variety of nutrition-related issues including (but not limited to) enteral nutrition support, congestive heart failure, and diabetes.
