Cardiopulmonary

At Delta Health we are happy to provide our community with a variety of cardiopulmonary services including testing, rehabilitation and education.

Diagnostic Testing

Diagnostic testing assists our medical staff in the diagnosis and evaluation of lung and heart conditions. These services are available for both inpatients and outpatients to include:

  • Regular cardiac stress testing
  • Asthma Management
  • Cardiac nuclear medicine stress tests
  • Pulmonary Function Testing
  • EKGs
  • Holter Monitoring
  • Cardiac Event Monitoring
  • Echocardiograms (heart ultrasound)
  • Overnight Pulse Oximetry

Sleep Disorders Lab

The Sleep Disorders Lab is designed to provide a quiet context for evaluating symptoms of sleep disorders such as insomnia, excessive snoring, fatigue and inappropriate “dozing off” during normal activities like driving or working. We are able to study any patient above the age of five years old.

Most commonly treated sleep disorders:

  • Insomnia
  • Snoring
  • Central Sleep Apnea
  • Complex Sleep Apnea
  • Obstructive Sleep Apnea
  • Narcolepsy
  • Restless Leg Syndrome (Nocturnal Myoclonus)

Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation:

The Cardiac and Pulmonary rehab department at Delta Health provides services for those with cardiovascular, pulmonary and peripheral artery disease. Through exercise, education, and support we strive to help you regain independence and take back freedoms you feel have been inhibited by your disease.

What to Expect:

Before enrolling in the program you will have a one on one appointment with the rehab team where we develop an individually tailored exercise program to meet your needs. Once we have established your personalized program, you’ll be enrolled in a rehab class meeting two to three times a week for one hour. Classes consist of monitored exercise, medication and blood pressure management, tobacco cessation and education.
Whether you have had a recent cardiac event or are newly diagnosed with pulmonary disease, our team is here to help guide and support you through every stage of your journey.
