DCMH Celebrates National Hospital Week
Delta County Memorial Hospital celebrates National Hospital Week on May 11-17th by providing an employee gift to all employees as a thank you for all of their hard work and commitment to working for this community hospital and working 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Also a barbeque meal and ice cream sundae bar was offered in the cafeteria to all hospital employees free of charge as another gesture of appreciation from the hospital administration.
The national theme for Hospital Week this year is "Compassion, Innovation and Dedication, The Commitment Continues" most hospitals across the country will celebrate and honor their staffs, both clinical and non-clinical with activities and events.
A hospital is more than a place where people go to heal, it is part of a community that fosters health and represents hope. From providing treatment and comfort to the sick, to welcoming new life into the world, hospitals are central to a healthy and optimistic community.
The hard working people that work for hospitals deserve a huge thank you and appreciation for keeping the community healthy. Community residents are asked if they see anyone they know who works for Delta County Memorial Hospital around Delta County to express their appreciation for the people, facilities and technologies that make trustworthy, reliable health care possible for everyone in this community.
