When a woman discovers she is pregnant, she should make an appointment to begin a schedule of prenatal care with her health care provider. Our experienced physicians provide care to women during pregnancy, labor and childbirth. Our patients deliver at Delta County Memorial Hospital in the Stork's Landing Labor & Delivery unit (to schedule a tour of the unit call 874-2255). Our physicians are also available to meet in advance of pregnancy to provide preconception counseling, infertility evaluation and help women prepare for a healthy pregnancy.

Choosing the right method of birth control is a decision that should be made with your healthcare provider, as well as with your partner. Our physicians can discuss your options and if necessary, provide a contraceptive prescription that best meets your needs. There are many types of birth control available for women who do not wish to become pregnant including pills, patch, implant, injectable, IUD, ring, & Essure (permanent birth control, in-office sterilization procedure).

Dr. Joyce McKenney has been providing women's health and GYN services in the Delta community for the past 20 years. After graduating from University of Washington School of Medicine she completed her residency at Duke University Medical Center and has been Board Certified in OB/GYN since 1988. Dr. McKenney has special interests in postmenopausal care and teen healthcare. She loves the outdoors and some of her hobbies include hiking, fly fishing, yoga, traveling and crafts.
Dr. Brian Eades is an Obstetrics/Gynecology specialist who has joined Premier Women's Healthcare from Amarillo, Texas. He attended and graduated with honors from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 1985 and has been Board Certified in obstetrics and gynecology since 1991. After delivering more than 3,000 babies, Dr. Eades continues to enjoy bringing new lives safely into the world while maintaining the lowest cesarean section rate in Amarillo in 2012 and 13. Dr. Eades has advanced laparoscopic skills and specializes in comprehensive women's health, including specialized fertility services. Dr. Eades is excited to make the Western Slope his new home, as he loves the outdoors, distance running and snowboarding. He is also very involved in the ongoing changes in healthcare and is looking forward to becoming a member of the Colorado Medical Society.
Dr. Henry Lewis, III has been Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1988, graduating from Washington's Howard University College of Medicine in 1981. After completing his residency in Ohio, Dr. Lewis practiced as an OB/GYN physician for 14 years in North Carolina. He moved to Vernal, UT in 2009 and while running his own private practice, he also offered a convenient service to women in Rangely, CO by conducting regular clinics there to provide prenatal care and gynecological consultations. Dr. Lewis' interests are in high-risk obstetrics, infertility and operative laparoscopy. He enjoys classical music, theater, chess and spending weekends in his RV.
